Lasagna with ricotta

This a delicious receipe of vegetarien lasagna. It is light and full of flavor. Simply delicious.

Here is the receipe of the lasagna:
1 onion, finely diced
3 colves of garlic finely diced
4 tbsp of olive oil
2 cans  (14.5 oz) of diced tomatoes
1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar
9 sheets of lasagna
some mozarella ( for the top of the lasagna) You can use also parmesan
1 cup of ricotta cheese
1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
1/4 cup of diced fresh basil
dried oregano and dried basil.

Preheat oven to 350 F. In a medium sauce pan cook ognion, garlic and olive oil over medium low heat,
Stirring untill the onion are soft. Add basil, tomatoes and balsamic vinegar and dried spices ( basil and oregano).
Add salt and papper to taste. Cook for 10 min. Turn off the heat and add 1 cup of ricotta cheese.
Cook the pasta.
Ladle some of the sauce into a 8 in sqaure baking dish, then spread 3 sheets of lasagna. add 1/3 of the sauce amd then parmesan cheese.
Repeat the operation. you can make 3 layers of lasagna. Over the layer don't add the cheese now.
Bake uncovered for 40 min.
Add the cheese ( parmesan or mozarella ) over the last layer .
Cover and bake for 10 min.
