You will need:
1 cup all purpose flour or whole white wheat flour
½ cup roasted pecans
¼ cup brown sugar
½ tsp salt
6 tbsp butter (you can put up to 1 stick)
Grind the pecans in a food processor until they are a fine crumb. Add the flour, salt, and sugar to the pecans in the processor and pulse 5 times to incorporate. Add butter and pulse for about 20 seconds, until mixture forms small clumps. Add the egg white and pulse an additional 20 to 30 times, until mixture forms a ball, being sure not to over-process. Add water if necessary.
Press the dough into your pie plate or quiche plate. Pick the bottom with a fork and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
