Cajun turkey burger

This is delicious and healthy burger I found on my favorite magazine cooking light. The Cajun spice adds a special touch to the burger. Try it and you won’t be disappointed.

For 4 burgers, you will need:


1 lb ground turkey

1 red pepper

3 oz mushrooms

1 egg

¼ cup breadcrumbs

2 tbsp ketchup

1 onion

2 tsp Cajun spice

½ tsp salt

1 tbsp garlic powder


  1. In the food processor, finely chop the onion, then the pepper, then mushrooms. Squeeze water from chopped onion, pepper.
  2. In a big bowl, mix the turkey, pepper, mushrooms, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, Cajun spice, salt, garlic Toss everything together. For the patties with your hand.
  3. Fix the grill to medium high, spray with non-stick spray and put the burgers. Cover the grill and cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
