Northern India lamb curry

I have a new passion for Indian food. I really like their spices. The mix of ginger, turmeric and coriander make this lamb curry absolutely delicious.


For 4 people, you will need:

600 g lamb

2 tbsp olive oil

1 big onion diced

2 tomatoes cubed

¼ tsp cinnamon

2 tsp turmeric

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp ground coriander

4 whole green cardamoms and 2 whole black cardamoms

3 whole cloves

1 big piece of ginger grated

Salt and pepper

Sauté onion and the lamb in the olive oil. Add the ginger. Add the water until you cover the meat. Add tomatoes and all the spices. Cook for 1h30 or more until meat is tender. Serve with rice. (I used brown rice)
